In return, you receive economical compensation for participating in these programs. These services have different names in different countries, but they all play a vital role in stabilising the grid as the world moves towards electrification of society and integrates more renewable energy sources like wind and solar into the energy mix.

    As Pixii Home need to be a reliable electrical product which performs a lot of different tasks, it is mandatory for the extended warranty to maintain the system every 2 years.
  • Is any extra hardware needed for the installation of Pixii Home?
    Depending on how the Pixii Home is used. But normally you will need either the normal meters for PV self-consumption, which will be available from your wholeseller, or a specialized meter for the flexibility market, which will be either provided by Pixii or by the aggregator of your choice, or you need both options together.
  • Where can I find all necessary documents for Pixii Home?
    The documents and all updates related to them are accessible through Pixii Academy for which each installer will get an account to become a certified Pixii Home installer. Or you can ask your wholeseller, they also will be provided with them.
  • Can the power and capacity of Pixii Home be extended?
    Yes, with the Pixii Home Extension Kit the system can be extended once up to 20kW and 20kWh.
  • Are special tools needed to install Pixii Home?
    No, Pixii Home can be installed with the standard tools every electrician has.
  • Under which conditions can the Pixii Home be installed?
    Pixii Home is designed for an outdoor installation. However, it should not be exposed to direct sunlight or heavy rain. It needs a flat ground which is strong enough for the full weight of the system. For the maximum efficiency we recommend an environment that has between 15°C and 20°C.
  • How is Pixii Home installed with a new or already existing PV-system?
    Pixii Home can be installed with an existing or a new PV-system. As the system is AC coupled it is only necessary to connect 2 meters. One for PV production and one for grid consumption. These meters will monitor the house and the PV and act accordingly to the set parameters.
  • What kind of support do you offer?
    The first contact for your support will be your wholeseller, who will have a deep technical knowledge of Pixii Home.
  • Can I connect 3rd party apps with Pixii Home?
    At the moment this is in development and will in the first step limited to our aggregation partners. In the future we want to make Pixii Home as accessible as possible to existing energy management software applications.
  • Do you offer a monitoring app for installers?
    Yes, we´re developing an app especially for installer to make the commissioning process as easy as possible.
  • Is one certified installer for my company enough?
    That depends, if this person is the only one doing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance, then yes. The certification is bound to the person which took the trainings course as it is important to have trained people handling the Pixii Home. It is not allowed to, for example, for the boss to take the course and then let the employees handle the Pixii Home installation.
  • What is Pixii Academy?
    The Pixii Academy is where you can take the course to become a certified Pixii Home installer. It also provides a lot of other trainings for Pixii products, like the PowerShaper.
  • Do I need to have a special training for installing Pixii Home??
    Yes, you need to be a Certified Pixii Home Installer to install, commission and maintain the system. This is also necessary to get the 10 years of warranty.
  • Where can I buy Pixii Home?
